I quit every now and then for 5-6 months, and onetime a whole year. But the allure of expansion packs an title updates bring me back

I quit and have no problems quitting . . . . simply because I didn't even start! I'd rather not risk getting addicted Lol I like my life a lot.

For me it was all part of the community. You do literally get dragged in you depend on people and people depend on you. Pulling the plug on the game you pull the plug on the relationships you build with people. It sounds really stupid and in a sense i guess it is but even though it is fake and not real when you are part of something, for instance you are a master craftsman making armor and weapons. It gets to the point where people start to rely on you to always be there as they need you and you need their money to buy more stuff. MMO's thrive by making the gamer feel like the life they play in the game is real and by unsubscribing is almost like suicide, it's a horrible thing to get addicted to.

IMO, probably because you can actually communicate with other people, also the MMORPG's have new updates all the time.

I never get addicted to a game if I'm not enjoying it. I mean, seriously, if you like a game than as long as you don't let it take over your life it is perfectly fine to play it often.
