What's Wrong With BioShock 2?

An examination of the news that BioShock 2 is getting a fourth developer, Arkane Studios, and because of that, raises the question of whether or not the game is in trouble.

"With word coming today that BioShock 2 now has four different development houses (2K Marin, 2K Australia, Digital Extremes, Arkane Studios) working on the title, the question must be asked: What’s wrong with BioShock 2?"

    Probably nothing. 2K Marin/Australia are working on the single player and Digital Extremes/Arkane Studios are working on multiplayer. I assume this is the case as Digital Extremes were originally drafted in to do the multiplayer side of things. Perhaps multiplayer has gotten bigger than they can handle and they need Arkane to help. I doubt the game is in trouble.
