Someone wants a next-gen console but doesn't realise what they want to get. They don't care about the system's power and media capabilities and all that, they just care about the games. Someone has both 360 and PS3 but doesn't want to waste time on Killzone 2 if they'd like Gears 2 better, and vice-versa. Enter exclusives comparisons.

Here's a riddle for you; what's more redundant then exclusive comparisons? Wasting your time going on about them when you could be doing articles about things you actually care about, which wouldn't be so ridiculously silly. True story.

Wasting your time ranting on about articles like these when you could be making constructive comments in other articles about things you actually care about. True story.

The article has a point, though and brings up good discussion about the topic. Why be placid about the topic and let it be?

Well all the articles I was interested in I had already commented on

And it does serve a purpose; kills time whilst I'm waiting for my next orders (can't think of a less serious word for orders at work, lol).

I have both systems. On my blog I did a complete comparison. Price, games, hardware, accessories, you name it. It was primarily to just end the squabbling. Truly who cares?! We the consumers are the ones who benefit regardless of the amount of units sold. I sure haven't received any money for supporting a certain brand. Lets just play games and have fun. It doesn't matter what console you own or what exclusives are out there. A great game is just that. A great game.

Who benefits? The gaming sites and blogs of course, they get hits and ratings, and nothing brings them in like a fanboy spam fest.
