New Challenger: 3 Reasons Why Gaming Will Destroy Itself Part 1
20 hours 16 mins ago
A simple post from my Neoblog about how Killzone 2's online component has aged and the glaring flaws that still stalk the experience, including noobish antics and tactics.
It was on Killzone 2's launch day that a copy came direct to me via GAME, and without haste, I rammed the disc into the machine as soon as I came hoem from school. Having played the demo beforehand, all I wanted to do was to play the online mode everyone was talking about. The first day of Warzone, for me, was quite a satisfying session, ranking up faster than I had imagined, courtesy of the bots that infested the online matches at the time, meaning buckets of easy XP for those who took the fight online on day one. Of course, bots were immeadiately scrapped as Guerrilla obviously noticed how groups of players would seclude themselves in a server with hordes of bots.

I semi agree with point 5. Steel and Titanium was really underwhelming. Wasteland Bullet is the worst map in an online game ever. However, Flash and Thunder's maps are awesome and for the price it's well worth it imo.
The main reason, why I, personally see Killzone's online being underloved is because of the sensitivity when the game was released.
