In a surprising review of different figures, someone has discovered that the PS3 might be closing the gap of the sales between the 360 and the PS3. Though it's strictly rumor at this point, it very well could be true.

Sony has been having a difficult time this past year with the global economic crisis in full swing. Many CE companies are hit hard and Sony’s PS3 has been affected due to its high price tag. However, according to reports it seems like Sony has managed to close the widening gap between the Xbox 360 and the PS3.

This stuff happens when you have a good console with good games on it and even better games coming out in the near future.

The article just said basically this

"360 is outselling PS3 in America, So PS3 is probably outselling them in Europe and Japan, I have no sources for this"

Japan is a obvious one in the first place.

Seems like a ploy to enrage the masses.

More like a ploy to get traffic and a small sense of self-gratification. Enraging the masses is just a bonus for them.

Xbox PR: OLOL we're outselling you in Europe!

      PS3 PR: We own Japan!

      Rinse, repeat.
