Electronic Theatre reports on a poll held by Blend Games, in association with Electronic Theatre, as to which Current-Generation exclusive is currently more anticipated, Halo 3: ODST or M.A.G.
Blend Games has now revealed that several thousand votes had been cast, and in a shocking revelation declared M.A.G. the undeniable champion. With nearly three quarters of all votes cast going in it’s favour, Zipper Interactive’s M.A.G. has obviously reached a boiling-point of anticipation.

I myself am looking forward to MAG, but also don't hold high hopes for it. Were as with ODST i know how it's going to play and what to expect.
So it's MAG vs Halo(Because every Sony exclusive shooter ever made has to challenge it, apparently)... and BFBC2 vs Modern Warfare 2.
MAG could be good, hell MAG might be the best game of '09. I dont know but I'm going to keep my expectations very low untill the game releases.
i vote halo
A brand new IP that features a staggering online play of up to 256 players, something untested and totally new, versus a thinly placed spin-off with nothing more than a few extra maps and (I pray) a protaganist that may actually have dialouge.
I vote MAG.
Wouldn't it be fair to say both games are a major deal? Face it, this isn't a debate over which game people prefer -- it really about consoles. Neither side wants to admit the other console has a game they like / want to play.
*thumbs up*
I'm not a big fan of shooters aside from Battlefield mostly because of the destruction engine. I like seeing things go boom and actually having a visible effect unlike the "OHMYGOD SOOOO REALISTIC!!!1" CoD games where artillery fire can't put a dent in tin, but I digress and that's beside the point right now.
Impact of these two games:
Halo - As a series it's already made it's big impact and effectively defined the online shooter experience for the consoles, with numerous copy-cats and contenders basing themselves off of it's core design. ODST can't really add much to it aside from the main campaign I think.
MAG - Too early to tell, but it's using old techniques to try to make a very big game. That's kind of it really, splitting sides into small squads to keep latency down is nothing new. Made by the SOCOM guys who have thus far shown no capability in doing anything new for about a decade, so I remain cautiously optimistic.
Even though I'm not a fan of Sony, I see how the game has the possibility of changing things with the ability of mass quantity in game play on the consoles.
Not to mention it pretty much carried the original Xbox on its shoulders. Really a step forward for console shooters in general, and the first one to enjoy so much attention.
It's a well-made trilogy all around, and just plain fun. I like that they've sort of opened up the Halo universe to a more updated style of play in ODST.
Anyways, props to Electronic Theatre for creating a fanboy feeding frenzy. The community needs a good jab now and then.
Calm down En, damn.
Unfortunatly, I'm not that excited. The concept is great, but it looks like everything we've seen before in war games like Operation Flashpoint and COD, and with 256 people playing (and at least 20/30 tards per game), you're going to get all walks of life ruining your gaming experience.
If I am correct on that, I would be more worried about maintaining a stable connection in something that big. Unless those are some extremely dedicated servers, it seems that one bad connection could make the whole game wack.
But then he used "cheap" before that, so I dunno.
If you go by sales estimates alone, I'd have to say ODST would win hands down judging on Halo 3 selling some million copies in its first week.
