If you have not beaten Killzone 2 do not continue reading on, as this article contains spoilers.

Spoilers: We all know that there will be a Killzone 3. Killzone 2 was a huge game for Sony and they left the ending wide open. If you have beaten the game, you will know that one of the best characters, Visari gets killed in the end. Even though he was evil, his speeches brought a tingle down your spine. Well why would Guerrilla Games get rid of such a amazing character? Well they might not have. If you pay close attention, in the intro scene for Killzone 2 Visari has green eyes. In the end cutscene where Rico kills Visari, he has brown eyes. This could be that he wasn't really a Visari but a body double.

Another theory and one that is more likely to be more accurate is that the Visari that Rico kills is not actually Visari but rather a double. It happens all the time where VIP’s will appoint a look-a-like as a double for security reasons.

Wow talk about attention to detail. I didn't even spot that in the end. Nice work.

I think this would be kinda a weak excuse to bring him back. Especially since it makes you going through the whole game to kill him more than a tad meaningless.

How the hell is that theory more accurate than what is shown at the end? I love Visari's speeches as much as the next fan but that would be one of the lamest twists ever.

Them sending in a body double for battle would be a lame twist? Not really.

It actually seems like something Capcom would add in as an excuse to bring back a dead character.

"Yeah, I could've booby trapped the entire Palace killing everything in it (seeing as I was not there). But I figured it was a better idea to have all my personal bodyguards die for a carbon copy of myself."

I think I'm just gonna wait for KZ3.
