Smackdown 10 Is Struck By The Madden Syndrome

Smackdown is a great fun game but year after year it's still roughly the same. New features and gameplay animations cannot only be parts of the game that get an upgrade. Visuals need to be attended too seriously or else Smackdown 10 will be just a new number to the franchise.

Smackdown 10 will be released this October and the newest addition to the features roster is creating your own person to take through the your own story mode with your own moves and having a brand new unique experience, that’s great and all but if that’s the new highlight of the game then Smackdown 10 will just be another Smackdown with a new number and great features.

    I'm personally thoroughly anticipating ths game after I heard of the new features.


    Besides the graphics are slightly upgraded.Clothes no longer look like they are painted on and willalso move more like they do in real life.

    Just looking at the pic of John Cena shows that his wrist and arm bands actually look like they have dimension to them, no longer do the look like they are painted on.

    ...That's pretty much every long-lasting sequel ever made; especially in sports games. It's a rare occasion that major innovation comes to these types of games, Kotaku did a comparison not too long ago of Madden Games 06 to 10, to be honest... I could barely tell the difference.

    One of the differences were shoelaces.... shoelaces? *sigh*

    Yeah, ideas are running short as of late. But one of my biggest gripes with the Smackdown series is the use of CAWs. It seems that with each passing game, CAWs are becoming more and more useless to create. I've grown bored of the titles now, something I'd never thought I'd say.

    Raising a character's stats, for example...I don't want to play story mode for a while with every one of my CAWs to get decent stats. -_- It used to be just complete the story once or twice and you get to mess with the CAWs attributes how you saw fit.

    You could make your own characters in the old smackdowns in the 90's on ps1. It's not even a new feature.

      The article doesn't say it is.Using your CAW in a self created storyline is new, not simply being able to CAW.At least concerning SvR 2006-2009.I haven't played the earlier games so I wouldn't know.

    I really hope this game is good. I like wrestling games and this one should be the answer to my prayers!

    Oh look, it's from HipHopGamerShow, therefore has no influence in what i think of the game because their opinions are always idiotic.
