gorillajumpers.com examines why with a 54% failure rate between the red dings and E74 do gamers still pour money into an failure ridden console? What is it about the 360 that keeps bringing gamers back for more.

A 54% failure rate brings many questions to mind. How did Microsoft avoid recall of the system, why are we not seeing more class action suits, and most importantly and personally, why do I keep buying consoles that our almost guaranteed to die on me.

But it doesn't have a 54% failure rate.

That was just a survey of magazine(?) readers...

Well I'll say my stuff before a certain "fanboy" (you know who) comes and spreads his hate. Xbox has:

    Great Games
    Great online service
    Cheap price
    Great games

PS3 has the same thing except it's slightly more expensive and has a different library. Why must we constantly be pitting the two against each other in such stupid articles that are so obviously intended to create flamewars and traffic?

Why do people keep saying this? The reason it had a 54% fail rate is because the people in the group and more 360s than any other console. I'm guessing out of the 5000, at least 3000 had 360's. It's bad, but put that amount for any console and it's going to have a high fail rate.

RRoD can come from over playing...Some just need to stop playing CoD for 13 hours

I'm also willing to bet the majority have their Xbox on carpet.

Yeah, it comes from overheating/motherboard roblems. The only problem that isn't caused by over playing is the disk tray problem.
