Stupid article title suits stupid article. He believes that GOW2 shoulda sold some fifty million copies just because there were that many PS2 owners.

It's a new generation with new gamer mindsets. To say GOW3 won't sell well is just thunder-stealing.

2.5m is pretty solid for a game. The majority barely make 400k.

I personally feel with the launch of The GOW Collection in the coming months the PS3 could see even more sales for the third. Well only if people that have never experienced GOW of which there are many like the collection.

All I know is that I will be one of the 3-5 million people who will buy the blu-ray collection AND GOW III. Looks like they sold me, without even trying. Great games tend to do that to people.

With the collection, plus the increased popularity from the last games, I think GOW III will easily surpass its brothers sale wise. MGS4 for instace shouldn't have done nearly as well as its bigger console install base brothers, but it still did.
