Apparantly, Take-Two doesn't want to talk about Grand Theft Auto 5. Strauss Zelnick, the Director of Take-Two Interactive, had this to say:

“We’re not going to announce it. We’re not going to announce when we’re going to announce it. And we’re not going to announce the strategy about announcing it or about when we’re going to announce it either, or about the announcement strategy surrounding the announcement of the strategy. Any other questions?”

You have to consider he probably gets asked stupid questions like this by stupid journalists every other day -- someone's gotta say it.

I think the problem with GTA IV was that it was initially very impressive, but once that wore off, you're left with a pretty soulless game and a huge city with nothing to do in it. Unlike others I love the driving, and I think the online mode is superb, but there's no doubt it's missing some of that classic GTA charm.

Hm, I agree. The game was addicting, I think I played it for a good month after release, trying out different vehicles, weapons, online abilities (holy hell the online was entertaining). The story felt a little more emotional than others in the series, but I have to say that it's my favorite story of GTA yet.
