It seems as if the Sony Defense Force has finally lost their cool. They cannot take honest critics and seem to have gone off the deep end. The author sites examples from only ONE pro-Sony blog site, that was critical of the 3.0 firmware update.

"This has been a mixed year for Sony. Most people can agree the PS3 Slim will be a huge seller, especially at the $299 price point. That has not stopped Sony from continuing to make mistakes. Lately it has been the much maligned 3.0 update. While it is to be debated whether the update is all that great or not, most can agree it was not the earth shaking download Sony had promised it would be. With that has come some ire from small blog sites, even pro-Sony blog sites.

It seems as if the latest round of negative press has sent the Sony Defense Force over the edge however. The fanboys are in a special mood defending Sony. Far removed from the usual non-sense of listing games or just putting ‘RROD’ in every comment, they have finally gone and lost it. I would like to illustrate some comments from just ONE blog article ‘dissing’ the 3.0 update."
