ResumePlay's Michael Perry lays out details on the newest edition to the Call of Duty series. Does the game have enough new concepts and updates to keep the series alive? check the article for the full details.

Everybody already knows this game is going to destroy. Companies make release date decisions based on this series. The popularity that was Modern Warfare wasn’t expected but was met with such success that a sequel was bound to happen. Modern Warfare 2 seems to be taking all the right decisions a sequel should take. Multiplayer is getting updated a lot more than what I was expecting, which what I was expecting was COD 4 multiplayer with new maps, but the new implementations sound awesome. Let’s take a look at this monstrosity of a game and see what all the fuss is about.

Clearly you're one of the VERY few who have that opinion. MW2 will definitely be the greatest multiplayer game ever created. (MW1 is the best right now, but only until 11/10) This game deserves all the attention it gets. I mean, what other game can you play for almost every night for 2 years staight without getting tired of it?

I'm sure a lot of people were saying the same thing about Gears of War 2, but the majority of them ended up hating it when compared to the original. You can't really say that it will be the greatest multiplayer game ever created until it's actually released and thoroughly played. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up putting in a new feature that messes up the multiplayer completely. As for your last statement, I'm pretty sure Halo 3 has had consistently more players than Call of Duty 4 through it's entire existence for Xbox Live. It's just now starting to get passed by CoD: WaW, according to majornelson.com.

I'm with FinalFantasyFanaticc on this one. Whilst simplicity and realism can do a good thing, it doesn't play well with me with Army games. Gears of War was mentioned earlier, and I much prefer it. It's more creative and, in my opinion, a lot more enjoyable to play.
