PS3 sales up 100k, Sony ready for holidays

After a strong showing in August, Sony is ready for the holiday season. Having sales increase nearly 100,000 units, the price drop is showing signs of early success.

It’s amazing what a price drop will do for the sales of a system. After performing fairly weak month after month, Sony finally has something to truly be happy about. The PS3 sales are getting better, or so it would seem.

    No doutd the ps3 is doing better but to secure the holiday they have to go *bleep*en huge cause MS isnt going to give up easy, thats for sure.

    Glad Sony is getting a solid foothold this season. August's sales were probably the closest they've gotten to equaling 360 sales.

    Been a fantastic year for the beast. RE5, Killzone 2, InFamous, Demon Souls (GOTY! <3) and Arkham Asylum.

    Uncharted 2 on the way!! <3
