The Evolution of a Gaming Site Logo

I just thought some of you might find it interesting to see how a Gaming Site Logo was born, and where it ended up. At least for those interested in drawing and art.

Today I am just going to post the about the evolution of the Hamsterfist.com logo. A buddy of mine, more of a guru if you will. (We call him the sexual intellectual) Drew me the original sketch. I then ran that sketch through Adobe Illustrator and gave it more of a 'comic' look on the lines. From there I colored the rest in by 'hand' so to speak in Photoshop. Here are the pics!

    You know, perhaps it might be better to stop posting news articles about a gaming site on your gaming site and post actual articles about gaming; no offense but the majority of your recent postings (unless if I've missed a load) have been about logos, why people should like your site and so on and so forth. Kind of makes the site redundant, no?

      ?? This has really been the only 'site news' news that I have submitted. This past week was Zombie Apocalypse Review, The Top Types of Gamers, VampHuntD's continuing story of his YLOD adventures, Episode 68 of theplaystationshow.com podcast, an attack on gaming. What in there wasn't gaming related strictly? The week before was again the same type of material. I have never posted an article about why people should like my site. NOT ONCE. You must have me confused with someone else boss.

        Sorry, boss, but even five within a month would be much too much, especially when the actual articles are sub-par (and that's putting it nicely). To sidestep being deleted, boss, I won't go into details but if you call the majority of your articles journalism than you're delusional, boss.

    The text kind of ruins the logo, but your little (hamster?) guy with the boxing gloves is pretty funny. Maybe just abbreviate hamsterfist into hf, and place it at the bottom. Whatever, it's your site.
