This could quite possibly be the biggest "fail" in programming ever.

Calling NFS: Shift the "most bug-ridden piece of code he has witnessed in years", this blogger details how his copy of the game froze suddenly, with the Playstation Store logo on the screen. Whats more, he was playing a 360 version of the game on a 360 console.

But this could be the most embarrassing fail of all.

When navigating menus today while connected to Xbox Live the game suddenly crashed again. When my rage had subsided and I got a better look at the screen, I was pretty shocked at what I saw.

Was my Xbox 360 version of Need for Speed Shift really trying to access the Playstation Store? Microsoft are not going to be happy about this.

Hm, seems like someone wanted a game to be exclusive. Nevertheless, this is quite a blow on M$, heh.

no its more a blow on EA completely failing at programming. MS didnt design it.

They probably started on the the PS3, and then ported to the 360, seeing as that's the easiest way to do things.

    Hahaha, Now this IS funny!

Lol, well for those with a 360 and the game, and have never had a PS3. . . they get a taste of the PS3 right before their game crashes!

Lol . . . maybe the game has a split personality and both of them tried coming out at the same time! Overload!!

Anyone see the amount of glitches reported in NfS: Shift?
Looks like they went and released a $70 public beta...

Krunal most of the people bitching about this game are owners of the PC version, incompatibility with hardware configurations. It's standard affair for PC, for every person that runs it flawlessly there are 10 that don't. As for consoles yes the game might crash but the same can be said for every game, the consoles versions seem pretty solid other than this issue which is pretty funny.

dont go online or it will probably take you to the Live Marketplace and then crash (assuming you have the PS3 version).

I think I would have been completely blown away if it did access the store

Then it would give me almost no reason to buy a PS3, especially if Sony starts putting retail games on their store more often.

Heavy Rain and God of War 3 on 360? Yes plz.

It would be funnier if for some reason when he restarted it came up with the XBM.

Haha, proof that the PS3 is Sony's beta test in trying to take over the world! Even turning 360's into PS3's!!
