It seems the Forza team are getting a bit arrogant, not only verbally bashing both Gran Turismo and all PC racing games, but one guy even went as far as to register for a forum account on NeoGAF and act like a Forza fanboy. Ironically, he got caught.
The biggest story going around today is around the Microsoft employee that went onto NeoGAF to bash Gran Turismo 5 and Polyphony Digital. Things started to heat up after it was revealed that the NeoGAF poster was a covert Microsoft employee trolling as a fanboy. The biggest irony is that Forza 3 is good enough to stand on its own merit without such antics.

A Turn 10/Microsoft employee DID register an account on NeoGAF and trolled GT5's release date along with other things after a moderator had issued an ultimatum.
Also, keep the comments clean.
The thing I find most disturbing is Turn 10 offering DLC to whoever votes for them in the polls. I've lost all the respect I had for the developers of Forza.
It's one thing to say we didn't need to bash it, but then to say we didn't need to because we think our game's better anyway is another. What they should've said is "we shouldn't bash them, and we should just let our product speak for itself."
If Forza 3 turns out better, I really don't care, there are a lot of other great games on PS3 I can play. But crap like this is unexcusable. They're essentially talking smack at a company that's been in the business for more than a decade.
If you have to resort to such petty tactics, might as well admit defeat and save yourselves from spending on the rest of the marketing campaign.
whats new.
I remember some interview posted on PSLS with on of Sony's guys, how they kept trying to get him to throw a negative comment about Natal; they ended up having to spin the story to make it sound like he said it.
Meanwhile you have various off-said things that Microsoft says about both systems, Nintendo's "Waggle" action and what not.
And offering DLC to vote in a poll? What kind of shit is that?
