Reasons Why I Want To Break My Game Discs While Playing Online

Jim Clay from ResumePlay.net writes a humor post detailing reasons he wants to break his game discs while playing online. Has this ever happened to you?

I love online shooters. My personal favorite is Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. That is until someone does something that I feel is against my “Man” code of ethics of video games.So here is my list of the top 5 reasons I want to break my disc every time I play.

    The only time I feel like breaking anything is when I constantly die due to things beyond my control (mostly just bad spawning). Of course, I never come close to ever actually breaking anything. I usually just stop playing the game for a while if I'm on a bad luck streak.

    All the stuff this guy said I usually find humorous, if it happens to me. I don't really get frustrated over other players' idiocy.

    I hate lag-switchers in Halo 3.
    and COD online is headache inducing if your not playing with other people you know.

      Rage. Rage is blind. Rage is unforgiving. It blames the disc because finding those who are to blame and kicking the shit out of them would be much more time and effort than it's worth... well, not on all occasions

    In Uncharted 2 MP, there's always some dumbass who hits L2 [throw grenade] at the start of the match, and ends up killing a teammate.

    Man, on MGO there are always assholes who find it funny to teamkill the hell outta me. He just aims at my head while im standing there shooting at someone else, and he kills me in one headshot.

    I've never wanted to break my game discs. Why? Well, they cost a lot, and usually when I get pissed I need to vent immediately, not 2 minutes after I have turned the game off, gotten off my couch, and ejected the disc. It takes way too much effort just to vent. And like I said, they cost a lot of money. Anyone who actually does in fact break his/her discs needs some serious help.
