Reviews for Borderlands have started flooding in, and it looks like the game will be a good one. Thekartel.com believes the game industry needs more games like Borderlands. Go to the source to find out why...
Despite all the great games coming out, Borderlands has become my No.1 MUST BUY GAME for the holiday season. I would even go as far as saying that ALL games from now on need to look upon Borderlands as a shining example of what a great game should be like. That’s a bold statement when you realize that I haven’t even played the game.
So what about Borderlands is making me rave like a converted cultist, potentially riling up legions of fanboys for Mondern Warfare 2, Halo: ODST, or Left 4 Dead 2? Quite simply: From the get go, Borderlands has been touting key features which I believe all game developers need to seriously consider to be important to the overall feature set of any game. So while I reserve judgement whether the game will live up to expectations, there's no denying that there is a great deal of gamer interest because of these particular gameplay elements below.

"Why we need more games like Borderlands"
lawl.
This game looks really good, and it'll probably be my next purchase, unless Bethesda sorts out the problems with Fallout 3 GOTY.
And I betcha we'll have another one by the end of the year, or early next year. By the end of the year we'll have one we kinda expect. Next year someone will make one about a game we'd all say no to like Tetris, and then listen as he goes on to explain why he thinks of it. Starting with "Now give me a chance here as I explain..."
save for co-op of course.
...kinda breaks the whole condensing theme, but what the hell.
