Gran Turismo 5, God Of War III, Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2, Alan Wake..

Quite a few contenders already actually.

I don't think that Gran tourismo will win.

Jeez. 2009 hasn't even finished yet, and already people are looking at 2010's Game of the Year

Either way unless Microsoft starts unveiling some new games the overall GOTY is most likely going to a Sony game. They currently have like 8 AAA exclusives apparently out next year atleast. I only know of 3 AAA exclusives out next year on the Xbox 360, though I could very well be wrong there.

Halo: Reach, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Fable 3, Gears of War 3 (Unconfirmed, just a guess).

I count 6 AAA exclusives for the 360 next year that have actually been confirmed with a 2010 release date and 7 if you count in Gears of War 3, just going on speculation with that one though.

Just thought i'd fill you in on the ones you didn't know of

Despite there being some great games coming out on the 360 next year, I think he's right, I think 2010 will see GOTY on PS3. Also, Mass Effect 2 PC > ME 2 360

who cares if ME2 wins on PC or 360? its still a win for the game.

Personally speaking, this game isn't even on my radar for GOTY. But then, I don't really like racing simulators.

Mass Effect 2 has already won GOTY 2010, how the hell has no one even mentioned it?

Isn't it a tad early for this? :S

No. A tad would express a small amount of time. It's just simply and plainly way too g'damn early for it. If I've learnt anything about gaming journalism though, it's don't expect much from it.

Especially an indie... sorry, Australian site

I seriously can't see a racing game winning GOTY, especially if it gets released anytime towards the beginning of the year.

I thought the other article was bad that was trying to decide the 2009 GOTY already. Can't we at least get into 2010 before we start all this?

we already know MW2 is gonna take GOTY for this year. but yeah trying to guess next year already is silly.
