Elena’s Character Model Isn't Up To Uncharted 2 Standards

When a game is as good as Uncharted 2, I suppose you have to resort to nitpicking the small things. Vgarabia.com's Bawaleez did just that. He was disappointed with Elena's character model in Uncharted 2, claiming it didn't look half as good as the rest of the character models in the game...

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves graphical quality is nonnegotiable and no one can doubt the effort made on This PS3 exclusive master peace, but as the game goes on and precisely when the wonderful storyline get Drake alongside Elena once again, actually I was so excited to see what will Elena add to the story, but at the same time I thought there was something annoying happened there and let me say it right, I was shocked when I saw Elena’s character model because it was like it’s been directly imported from the original game.

      Not that she looks ugly, but apparently her character model was not as improved as the other characters for the sequel.

        But it was, therefore I don't see the point. Chloe is new so we wouldn't see a massive upscale, Drake it the main character so he HAS to be noticeable, Sully is Sully and you don't get more damn awesome than that, so Elena got some new clothes and a decent improvement. Chloe was hot but I won't miss her, stabbed me in the back to many times. ~_~

    I thought she looked way better in this game. She bugged in the last game with her pearly whites.

    And Chloe, while smokin hot, and the creepy eyes goin.

    I personally thought her character model was one of the MOST improved in the game. She's probably one of the most real-looking characters in the game.

      Agreed, I can see nothing but improvements over the original Uncharted's model, it looks much better in my opinion.

    Holy crap, what are they going to find to nitpick about Uncharted 2 next? Can't some people just accept that there can be a good PS3 exclusive?

      Sometimes I feel the same. There are times when a legitimately great exclusive PS3 game comes out, and critics cut it absolutely no slack. Then something like Halo 3 comes out and suddenly it single-handedly re-redefines the FPS genre for them...

          I proudly stand among one of those many. I'm actually going to my friends house to break his as he's just failed his A Levels to play Halo 3 for Pro and refuses to leave his room. Seriously, enough is enough.
