Microsoft Using PlayStation 3 Footage to Promote Final Fantasy XIII on Xbox 360

Some of the well known classic video games would probably look much different if they're made today with new resources and ideas. But, the question is, would they be any better?
The gaming industry has changed radically since Pong and Pac-Man were causing traffic jams at your local arcade. Most of the changes are for the good, some of them aren’t. It’s weird because we, as a nation, are no longer as innocent as we once were yet things that were commonplace back in the day are completely offensive to us. Can you imagine a big budget Hollywood “family” flick featuring underage drinking (The Goonies, Ferris Beuller’s Day Off, basically any Molly Ringwald movie)? Yet, in the eighties, when it was a requirement for every movie with an R rating to feature at least one pair of bare female breasts, they would be appalled by what we show on primetime television (the Girls Next Door, Extenze Commercials, CSI).
