Sony Set to Win 2010

So far, the lineup for 2010 has been strong for all the major players. Microsoft is planning Alan Wake and Natal, while Nintendo preps Mario Galaxy 2 and a new Metroid. Sony is kicking off the year with several huge released and could win the entire year with their lineup.

With 2010 quickly coming upon us, one thing is looking for certain; it'll be one of the best years of gamers across all consoles. Currently, Sony seems like they'll be starting 2010 off with big release after big release. Nintendo and Microsoft are also preparing for a massive year.

    Does anyone really care who "wins". As long as all the systems are getting quality games released on them and people are buying and playing games aren't they all "winning", or at least making a profit.

      It is good though that Sony pulling through; it had a few years of a dry spell, so seeing them get enough sales to make an impact on the other two companies is a great thing for all gamers.

    This really needs to end.

    Sony is doing better than ever and is picking up speed but do we really need ANOTHER "X to beat X in 2010-99"

        I'm disappointed that this isn't a 7 part reason why Sony will beat microsoft.

          Well, piling crap from the rest of the internet into one site isn't necessarily that sites fault, true, but if the site itself doesn't do *bleep* all about it after so long then that is the site's fault, I'd say.

          He's saying you won't win, since we are the tiny amebas in the gaming industry who the companies don't see as people, just mere pinatas who they wish to smash open and eat all the innards of.

          They act as if they work for us, but in the end who is the monkey and who is the organ-grinder? These days the line is so blurred you can never tell. So you won't win, was his point.

    Know what? Sony has all that but why doesn't the author write more than 2 for Microsoft?

    Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Fable 3, Halo: Reach, Crackdown 2. Oh and did i not mention GOTY 2010 MASS EFFECT 2!

    But yup, these articles are pointless, every year since the PS3 came out we've had these articles they get tiresome now.

          The year part is irrelevant; it's the core. Fanboyism. Wherever there's a PS3 fanboy article, or a Wii fanboy article, I see you at the front-lines demanding the fanboys kill themselves for the sake of humanity. When there's Microsoft fanboyism being thrown around, you're looking the other way.

          If you want to beat red, you must purchase the DLC add on "beat red" for an extra 10$. We where gonna keep this in the original game but we decided, hey, 10$ is 10$.

    Getting back to the topic, I think the PS3 has the best lineup for two years in a row. The only game on the 360 that interests me is ME2. I couldn't care less for any of the other games that are coming out for it tbqh. As far as I'm concerned, the PS3 has the best lineup in 2009 and 2010. The 360 had all the good games until mid 08, then the PS3 started picking up since then.

    I think the PS3 won 2009 tbh, but apart from God Of War 3 and Gran Turismo 5, I don't know how strong their 2010 line-up is looking in comparison to the strong 360 line-up. Heavy Rain and Quantum both look promising titles, but neither are established franchises, so could go either way.

    Then again, this is ignoring 2010 PS3 exclusives that are yet to be officially confirmed, but are likely to be released - namely Resistance 3 and Killzone 3.

    Sony wins again, then again Sony consoles always have the best exclusives games i haven;t even had time or money to play all the Exclusives AAA games from 2009 like Demon Souls and Ratchet & Clank - ACIT.

    I didn't even realise until I got to the bottom of the comments that 2010 means next year and not this.

    This year hasn't even finished yet and they're already harping on about who's set to 'win' next year.
