With only days away until Christmas, Game Podunk wraps up its Holiday Shopping Guides with our PC recommendations for both the casual and hardcore computer gamer on your list.
While most PC games are also released for the PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xboox 360; they normally offer a different experience than their console counterparts. This games offer the ability to modify your gaming experience or play other people's mods. There are also games that are only available for the PC. Here is a guide to five of the PC version's games, ones that stand out from the console ones and ones only for the PC.

That and The Sims 3 are crazy value.
A real shame Risen is only an honourable mention though -- that game is pure gold and every bit as good as Dragon Age.
I'd also have to throw in Street Fighter IV, probably Borderlands, Trine and Zeno Clash.
I'm looking forward to trying Tropico and Torchlight, though.
Did you try the lowest settings? Looks kinda crap unless you're on at least medium, but you could tinker and possibly get it working.
I believe a proper Xbox 360 port is coming to North America next quarter though.
