The poor Aussies have been depraved of an adult game rating for years and this has led to countless delays, bans and general bad luck. Worst part? It seems to be just one man who's behind it...

Three guess' who? No prize for the winner.

You've probably already heard of a man called Micheal Atkinson, and if you're an Australian gamer then you more than likely hate the hypicritical twat more than anyone. He is the attorney-general of South Australia, a position with an unfortunately large amount of power, and the one of the most hated men in the minds of gamers. Due to this man's stupid vendetta against games, developers must constantly delay & censor their games before they finally get to the Australian market or get outright banned all together.

Ys we certainly do need one, and soon, but that is unlikely to change too soon, even IF the honourable Mr Atkins even allows the public paper to be approved by parlament. He'll throw his veto vote in at the last minute, slamming the whole thing to a halt.

Sadly he has the ability to stop it in its tracks, even IF the country wants it

So he has the power to make a decision for the whole country? That sounds more like tyranny than democracy to me.

It's meant to be democracy in that the vote has to be unanimous. Everyone else agrees, he's just stopping it and our system doesn't exactly have the needed laws in place to simply say he's overruled or whatever because it's never come up before.

Exactly, anything anyone else tries to pass it will always fall to him to give the biggest yay or nay. Effectively making his vote the most important in the Australian industry.
