It's that time of year when almost every gaming publication reveals their Game of the Year awards. With many great candidates like Modern Warfare 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed 2 and Left 4 Dead 2, who will take out GOTY?

These are awards, not the Game of the year award which went to UC2. These are category awards like best shooter, adventure, soundtrack, ect

Best Graphics: Killzone 2 didn't get nominated and MW2 topped RE5?

Best Sound: No Uncharted 2 & MW2's gunshots and 50 Cent top the german orchestrate?

    Best Sport: Can't argue

    Best Music: Same

Best Action/Adventure: Would've had the runner-up & winner swapped but theres a decent sized (not overly large) group of people who would say otherwise.

    Best RPG: No complaint.

Best platformer: Was always going to be some sort of Mario remake

Best Shooter: The first category MW2 should've won.

Best Multiplayer Shooter: Dunno why this is a seperate award, but I would've swapped the runner up & winner.

Best fighting game: Winner is deserved but UFC is better than Tekken (As it's just gone to crap)

Best Racing Game: Gran Turismo (Shifty eyes) Forza 3 definetly Deserved but lack of serious competition this year which was dissappointing for PS3 fans.

Best PSN & XBL: Both deserved.

    Best DLC: Again deserved

Game of the Year: Definetly wouldn't have Batman as my personal winner, but others would, it's great having a game that's different but there are others.

Also: No mention at all for Demon's Souls? Very dissappointed
