Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
17 hours 17 mins ago
GameZone's Michael Lafferty was there when the Open Beta portion of the triple-A MMO from Cryptic and Atari was in the final stages and filed a story about the end of the event.
GameZone.com's Michael Lafferty writes: "That the Borg was on the move was known. That the Borg would invade Sector Space was probably not anticipated by many … well, with the possible exception of the Cryptic development team for Star Trek Online, the massively multiplayer online title being released by Cryptic and Atari on February 2.
"The Open Beta phase came to a conclusion last night, and those thinking to avoid conflict on a massive scale had to work to do that. The Borg were everywhere – as were the Klingons. But whereas the Klingons were much easier targets for the fleets of Federation ships engaged in the brutal brawl, the Borg were more high-powered, more precise in targeting, more prone to attack with numbers favoring that attack, and more than capable of shredding shields and ripping through the hull of the starships of young captains."

Well, I thought the game was fun. It's nice to be able to be a starship captain, piloting a fully customizable ship around, solving mysteries and whatnot.
There weren't many bugs, other than server connection issues.
I'm still kinda pissed that they didn't mention subscription fees before I bought the game for the full 60 dollars, but the game may just be worth it. Well, for others maybe. Not me. I haven't enough money to play. Still, fun game.
