A person known as Coop has posted up a blog entry concerning the popular and long-running television series, Lost. They've decided to analyse what exactly makes it so popular and how game developers should use these concepts with their future projects.

Tonight, television fans around the country tuned in for the season premier of LOST. If the producers are to be believed, it's the last season, and should give some closure to the plot lines started up over the past five years. While watching, I couldn't help but think about what makes the show so successful, and realized there are a few things that game makers could take away from J.J. Abrams' series. Well, besides Polar Bears, of course.

I would've only listed one thing that developers could learn from Lost. That is not to drag it out for so darn long and only make a couple of seasons, otherwise you'll lose most of your fans.

The only thing I would have recommended they learn from Lost is to hire Terry O'Quinn (Locke) for a bunch of voice acting. The guy has great delivery, Locke for Mass Effect 3 please since he'll be needing work anyway
