At this year's CES, a Sony rep claimed that "graphically, Heavy Rain blows Uncharted 2 away", and it's starting to look like that wasn't just mere PR talk.
Nextgn.com recently got their hands on a copy of the game and they were impressed, saying that Heavy Rain "is, without a doubt, the best looking game across all platforms so far."

The final code of Heavy Rain has arrived and, let me tell you, it´s amazingly impressive. We all knew the game was going to look great from all the screenshots we saw but the preview build really got me excited about the release. I spoke to Sony´s Public Relations team and they assured me that Heavy Rain´s graphics would top Uncharted 2: Among Thieves — now, that´s not easy. So far, the closest thing I´ve seen to Uncharted 2 graphics is Mass Effect 2, that was until now.

Heavy Rain is probably the most photo-realistic game to be available on console to date.

Well quite a few people were so up Nathan Drakes ass to accept that Heavy Rain was the better looking game. Uncharted 2 looks great don't get me wrong it is still one of the best looking games of all time but Heavy Rain beats it and thats it, no arguments it beats it.

Heavy Rain might have better graphics, but Uncharted 2 is prettier to look at imo.

It's so...colorful. Just looking at that screenshot of the snowy mountain makes me go "wow!"

I actually beg to differ... The animation helps sell Uncharted 2 and the animation in Heavy Rain is a bit off. But this is a stupid argument. They both look great.

The great thing is that they're both exclusive titles.

I terms of polygons it sure may blow Uncharted 2 away but the animation in Uncharted 2 seems far superior and its colorful nature makes it much better to actually look at.
