Yes you heard right. The L4D team has just announced that since L4D2 was released on November 17, that a total of 28 Billion kill counts towards zombies have been accumulated. You heard me right 28 BILLION.

Now that's a lot of zombies. I say we all deserve a pat on the back for being such successful zombie killers.

In the first two months of Left 4 Dead 2's release, 28,981,249,043 zombies have been shot, bludgeoned, chainsawed and killed — or, for our younger readers, taken to a farm where they can frolic and shuffle around forever.

That's a hell of a lot. I've been looking online to see an estimated number of units it sold but I can't get any figures. Hasn't there recently been some sort of hack though, couldn't that have influenced it a lot? Meh, either way that's a shitload of kills!

If you placed 28,981,249,043 rulers end to end, they would reach 28,981,249,043 feet in the sky.
Thanks for letting us know, Valve.

        November 17th....wouldn't that be 3 months on the 17th? November 17th to December 17th=1 month, Dec. 17th-Jan 17th, Jan 17th-Feb. 17th. That's three months.

EDIT: Also, if there is that much killing going on, why can't I find a game online

On the contrary they've killed 0. Because those zombies are already dead.

      Isn't Chicago Ted in L4D1?

Holy crap he's touring America killing zombies 1 by 1.....or 100 by 100 in his case....

28 billion? Where did they find the people to turn into said zombies?

I know, right? If everyone had the survival skill in real life that most show online a zombie apocalypse would be nothing for us to handle. Over in around three days, I'd estimate XD
