I grew up on the Command and Conquer series. I first started playing on a serious extent with C&C: Red Alert, released in 1996, on an old PC running windows 95 that was just barely capable of running that game.

    Admittedly this sounds like a horrible idea. To change the last game to the Tiberium universe this much just reaks of stupidity. They're going to be relying on the previous games' success to sell this, while at the same time telling all the fans to go and f*#@ themselves.

    I'm not buying this is not Command and Conquer anymore. Aommand and Conquer was summed up by the ability to base build and work strats. It's a shame that it seems StarCraft II is the last beacon of hope for the base building RTS game.
