What kind of gamer are you?

Gamesradar informs you on how what kind of game you play can define your personality. For example the wii crazy party gamers or the bad mouthed 12 year starting a shouting match in mw2. We gamers come in many different forms.

Just as obsessive dog owners morph into strange likenesses of their canine friends, hardcore gamers become manifestations of their game collections. The genres we play reveal truths about our lifestyles - the way we dress, the friends we keep, and the music we listen to. Or... maybe it’s completely ridiculous to make sweeping generalisations based on dogs and videogame genres. Maybe. Though if any of these examples do apply to you: GamesRadar one, psychology zero. Suck it, Freud!

    This list would be correct if everyone only played those types of games. I play all types of games - action, hack n' slash, RPG, racers, shooters/FPS, sports, rhythm, party games...all of the above.

    So what does that make me? An "Everythingerer"?

    Tbh, I'm mostly a Shooterer. There's nothing better than seeing dozens of bodies drop lifeless before hails of gunfire, you know.

          Somewhat old, so you'll be able to get it cheap these days. Great game; open world + racing, therefore non-linear. Awesome online too.

    I remember posting an article like this a long time ago, at least more than a year by now I'd imagine. I guess I'd be the Beat-Em-Upper, though I don't think this list is really applicable to all gamers.

    none of those really suit me. But the one that suits me the most is the RPG gamer I guess.

    I play any game I'm interested in.

    It's a pretty long and developed process, it involves hearing or seeing information that piques my interest and then in a series of cause and effect events I end up with a controller in my hand. Before I know it I'm either pleased or displeased with my experience and then the process starts over.

          That's the second time I've seen you run around talking about how you're a hardcore gamer. Now, you've mentioned before how you like to play the Wii a lot and you like to proclaim that you're a hardcore gamer: both of these are signs that you aren't a hardcore gamer.
