Ways That Heavy Rain Failed[SPOILERS]

Kyle of Insert-Disc lists the many aspects of Heavy Rain that he found disappointing. Mostly plot details, meaning the story contains a lot of spoilers so read after you've beaten the game.

Let me say this first, I love Heavy Rain. I think it is a great game and parts of the story are good. It also has tons of problems though, mostly with the story, especially after a certain point. The gameplay and premise are solid, but there are a lot of problems, some of which are just pathetic. There be spoilers below, so don’t read it if you haven’t beaten the game.

    I think for a first attempt Heavy Rain did well, second if you count Indigo Prophecy. Though while the game does have plotholes there are no more than an average movie, and yes while some things could have been done a bit differently that is something Quantic Dream will learn and improve on when they release the next interactive epic.

    I've not read the article but I hate how people have to find problems with games rather than actually enjoying them, no game is perfect and there will never be a 'perfect' game.

      And I hate how people always have to complain about people making legitimate criticisms about something and instead want people to just 'enjoy' everything and ignore the issues instead of making them apparent so that future games that go down a similar route can avoid making similar mistakes and actually improve.

      I also hate how people feel the need to make these sorts of remarks without actually reading the article and realizing that perhaps the authour isn't just out on some pointless quest to write something hateful about the game but actually enjoyed it but is pointing out the faults.
