Examiner.com wonders whether or not the Playstation Move may price itself out of mass acceptance. With a starter pack price of "under $100" plus the need to buy additional controllers will consumers pick it up after they've already spent $300 on a PS3?
When Sony introduced its new PS3 motion controls, dubbed Move, last night at the Games Developer Conference they showed technology that was impressive yet familiar at times. However, while watching the string of on-stage demos and talk of the technology, my mind came slipping back to a single slide that said, “Under $100.” When ever someone is trying to sell you something and says it is “under $100” that means the price is likely $99.99.

The starter pack only includes the controller, eye toy, and a game. See:

the company will launch a starter pack, which includes a PlayStation Move, a PlayStation Eye and an unnamed game all for under $100.
Gladiator also requires two glowballs, as well as that street fighting game.
So essentially, if you want to play any of the games with two people, you NEED four controllers.
I mean think about it guys, game controllers are 50 *bleep*ing dollars already, that's outrageous, but since it's the established norm we've come to accept it.
Edit: *bleep* it posted 3 times lol.. Sorry.
Good thing I'm not at all very interested in this tech.
Reading is fundamental.
The controllers are more advanced than what the Wii is offering so I wouldn't expect them to sell for less than an individual Wii-mote ($40) either. $40-$50 for an individual Move controller and $20-$30 for an individual Move sub-controller is a pretty safe bet IMHO.
