Many gamers have collections of various items, but some can go to some lengths with their collections.

OXCGN wants to find out what gamers collections look like, and what some consist of, so head on over and see the first one from one of the editors on OXCGN, his passion is Assassin's Creed franchise, and has some nice little touches, plus a one-off item any collector would be proud to own . .

What happens when you mix cool Collector’s Editions of games, a passion for a certain gaming licence and a tendency to collect things since childhood?

Well you get something like my Assassin’s Creed collection.

Yes I have Big Daddies, Brothers In Arms figurines, and tins galore, but pride of place (and the only bit of my gaming collection allowed in the house and not the garage) is my collection of Assassin’s Creed gear.

Well, he won the Assassin's Creed Blade from a Comp Ubi had recently on Facebook I think, so great stuff, I actually saw one this evening while doing some hands-on with the soon-to-be-released Splinter Cell: Convictions Xbox 360 demo that they will be releasing 'soon' - no exact date set as of this evening.

Those "Assassin's Creed 2 Blades' are in fact very limited, and only around 200 - 300 of them world-wide which have been used for comps and promotions etc.

Much like the Gears Of Wars COGS, which were boxed beautifully and only a few hundred of those were also made and distributed at events while the game was doing the rounds prior to release, all public events, so anyone that managed to get along, had the chance to nab one if they won it etc.

Sometimes it just shows the dedication some have towards their 'hobby of choice' . . there's certainly no need to begrudge them or say un-kind things about those who prefer to collect items . . .
