Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
18 hours 40 mins ago
In part two of the "360 Fanboy" series of articles PlanetXbox360.com looks at God of War III, and whether or not it stands up to the great reviews and praise it has been getting recently.
It should be obvious at this that point that even though I praise the glorious console known as the Xbox 360, I like many people out there still own a PS3 as well and from time to time dust it off and boot her up. So it should be no surprise that I played through God of War III earlier this week and have a few things to say about it. GoW3 had a lot to live up to, the first two iterations in the series pushed the PS2 hardware to new heights with each release and GoW3 does the same, at least visually anyways. Don't get me wrong, GoW number 3 is a great game and a huge achievement for Sony, but it still felt as though it was the weakest piece of the trilogy and I will touch on that in a bit.

Blu-Ray, incredible HD visuals, HD audio, great games, Wi-Fi in every system, easily upgradable HDDs, Netflix streaming, free online gaming, some of the best games of all time available for download off the Store... how can you not be in love with this package? And for only 300 dollars.
Does it do everything better than the competition? Maybe not in some areas, is it well worth the price of admission? Abso*bleep*inglutely. Why would you not want to own a PS3?
As a lover of both movies and videogames, the PS3 is a no brainer to me, and owning the 60gb version that plays all my old PS1 and PS2 games, it is my favorite console of all time. You can call me a fanboy, I call it common sense. For me, it just fits like a glove. I used to have a 360, I just didn't use it enough to warrant having it around.
I jumped on that thing for that reason exactly, I always had a feeling it wouldn't last. You don't have to be rich or anything, just save your money.
Favoring a console over another isn't really being a fanboy either.
And concerning fanboys . . . yeah.
But yeah, I'm in the same boat as you. Whilst I did enjoy Chains of Olympus, I have no interest in playing the main series...I'll probably pick it up later on when it's cheap but for now, too much on my plate.
