Diary of a Final Fantasy Noob - Part 1

Someone that's never really played a Final Fantasy game before takes Final Fantasy XIII for a spin and gives his thoughts on the characters, the combat, and the game as a whole.

Truth be told. I’m 35 years old, an avid gamer and really haven’t played a Final Fantasy game before. Shocking, I know. Now I did try the DS version of Final Fantasy III out for a while but didn’t get very far in the game mainly because I gave my daughter my DS at about the same time as an act of fatherly sacrifice. But the favorites like VII? Yeah, I never touched them.

    Apparently I can't report or thumb down spam. That's rather unfortunate... Someone with the proper facilities to do so should go ahead and do it.

    Anyway, I'd like to read it but I'm afraid of spoilers. I'm going to just go ahead and pick this up in a year or so when I can get it cheaply and not feel guilty about beating it and returning it.

      Not much of a point reporting the spam.I've reported something like 4 lots of that crap from 2 different bots and there's been at least 2 other bots.I couldn't be bothered reporting them anymore.

    If you don't want spoilers, don't read this. It seems like this guy is going to explain every bit of the story as he goes along. Not sure what the point of this is. If I wanted to read someone explain the story to me, I might as well play it myself.
