Electronic Arts has announced that 'Battlefield 1943' has become the fastest game to ever sell one million units over Xbox LIVE. Binge Gamer's James Walker, a strong supporter of the title since it's initial release, takes a moment to try to plead with EA and DICE to "throw the fans a bone," so to speak.

For as much as I love Battlefield 1943, there is no denying that it’s thin on content. Four maps (of which one is aircraft-only) and three classes simply isn’t enough to hold people’s attention over the long haul. The game has only been out for a little over nine months and already it’s becoming more and more difficult to find full matches. This is due to the fact that everything is, well, the same.

The game was $10 if that, and the Dog Fight mode was a bonus for the console's population getting to a specific killcount.

By now these people got more than what they paid for.
