Morality is a big thing in gaming these days. It adds depth, story, and realism to games. Ultimately this begs the question, how does morality in games affect us as gamers, our gaming, and in real life?

To some the beauty of gaming lies in the fact that there are no consequences in your actions, none that affect us in reality that is. If there is a person in the game that you deem obnoxious or vile there is a way to silence them, weather it be with the squeeze of a trigger or maybe even a quick flick of a blade. It is that instant gratification, and in most instances satisfaction, that keeps us coming back for more. Developers have noticed that and have continued to push us as gamers to see just what we will do when offered with the option of becoming good or bad.
