Why should Bungie make the next Call of Duty: Modern Warfare? Read here to find out the many reasons of why Bungie should create the next CoD: Modern Warfare.
Who wouldn't want to read considering Bungie and Call of Duty are two of the biggest names ever in FPS gaming world. Is there anyone who isn't intrigued by the possibilities?

But Infinity Ward are shedding staff like nobody's business - and the MW franchise is 'damaged', according to rival EA. Who better to save the Modern Warfare series from oblivion than the most celebrated FPS developer in the world?

Bungie and Activision are bosom buddies - and it's not as if the publisher doesn't have the money and power to (a) Increase Bungie's headcount so it can work on two projects and (b) Change the Washington-based firm's mentality of concentrating solely on one IP.

Didn't they buy a couple domain names such as: CoD Future Warfare, CoD Space Warfare etc.?

Certainly seems that is Bungie's sort of genre... interesting.

Yes they did buy a couple of those domain names. But if they do make CoD become Sci-Fi they better make it awesome and flawless.

DICE have shown future warfare is damn hard to pull off. To the PC fan base Battlefield 2142 is often seen as the weakest Battlefield game for the whole Sci-Fi/Future reason. I assume if Bungie did do a Sci-Fi Call of Duty, which they won't it might turn out alright since the Sci-Fi is all Bungie do.

I'd like my soldiers WITHOUT ANY sort of shields, thank you. That and I'd like my enemies to die within the range of a magazine, not 3.

Isn't the whole no-shield thing negated by the fact that you regenerate health?

Sure you die in less hits but the fact is that sitting around doing nothing is how you fix your condition in either setup.

Anyway, Bungie shouldnt do CoD, because its CoD.

Except that with the shield, it's like you have 2 whole health bars. At least in CoD, you just need a handful of bullets to finish someone off. In Halo? More often than not you find yourself reloading before your enemy is finally dead.

True enough on the amount of shots. Though Gears took that to absolutely ridiculous lengths and I don't think that even has shields in it.
