OXCGN writer Alex Baldwin (no, not the actor) takes a look at teh things we certainly do NOt want to hear aboout at the upcoming E3 in LA.

Some make perfect sense, and others, while out on a limb, could be possible due to the fickled nature of some publishers eager to make a quid.

Come check them out, pass comments and have your say. Plus one or two things we'd love to see -

E3 is always one of the highlights of the gaming calendar. We get to find out what will be parting us from our hard-earned cash for the next year, what the next iterations of our favourite franchises will be and of course, some exciting new IPs.

Every few years or so we’re even witness to the unveiling of a new console generation, or in this year’s case, a new way to interact with our consoles (Natal and Move).

However, we’re also just as likely to see misguided game remakes, unneccessary accessories and our favourite characters from days gone by forced to once again slog through endless soul-sucking sequels all hoping to bring the series back to its glory days (hello, Sonic…).

That link seems to be broken, link is here http://oxcgn.com/2010/05/19/top-10-e3-announcements-we-do-not-want/
Oh and the point about regular conrollers being phased out in favor of Natal? I totally second that.

They read more on the internet than people seem to think, but they do not go to all the gaming sites and who knows if Gamegrep or the places GG gets these articles from are sites that devs look at.

That should seriously be a paid job though. 1 or 2 people for 8 hours a day scanning the internet and reporting what customers are saying.
