Taking a look at the Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer brings about very familiar memories. Almost kind of a Modern Warfare feel. Will Treyarch be able to do enough to differentiate the game?

Activision released the debut trailer for Treyarch's latest take on the Call of Duty franchise during the NBA playoffs last night and it has certainly stirred the gaming world judging by the chatter. However, the Call of Duty: Black Ops trailer denotes a distinct shift in style for Treyarch that lends itself more to Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare series than their past efforts on Call of Duty: World at War or Call of Duty 3.

To be honest I don't want a difference. Modern Warfare is kind of dying anyways. Having a new name and a new developer for it is fine with me.

Yes but it was yet another overdone World War 2 game. And this one actually looks as cool as CoD4/MW2 in my opinion.

As far as evidence goes, it's possible you are reliving the memories of a guy being tortured in the future or present day Assassins Creed style, So it could end up being MORE modern then MW2
