Game Podunk examines Nolan North’s various contributions to gaming and how they have affected his career. North is most known for defining the character of Drake in PS3's exclusive adventure Uncharted franchise.

After moving to California, North claims that he got lucky by landing his first acting role on a spin off of General Hospital called Port Charles and a video game voice role in Maximo Vs. the Army of Zin. His thoughts on how he broke into the video game voice acting industry were simply hard work and luck. According to North, he “painted houses during the day and tended bar at night until I got lucky.” He also claims that he has had some rather odd roles in the past. For example, North was asked to pretend like he was drowning and had to gargle water in the voice studio - almost throwing up in the process. Another time, he was asked to act like he was a zombie being cut from his neck down to his hips with a chainsaw.

Nolan North the Will Smith of gaming.. He's semi talented but he ultimately found that single role (Uncharted) that propelled him to mass acceptance and now we can't get rid of him.
