Game Podunk examines some key turning points on the subject of nudity in video games to determine just how nudity is used in video games today and possibly in the future.
When God of War was released on the PS2 in March of 2005 (pre-dating San Andreas), there were no secrets about a particular scene in the game where you interacting with a couple of nude women in order to, ahem, knock that vase off the table. Although the actual exploits of Kratos as he relaxed in his pad were not entirely shown, there were extended topless scenes that some claimed were unnecessary and inappropriate. Some conservatives have claimed to enjoy the game play, but still rated it as an F to warn parents about Greek themes, violence, and nudity.
