Alex Baldwin takes a satirical look at modern day game journalism, in 10 simple steps.

The art of journalism has slumped in the last several years, and many bloggers have contributed to that. Especially when they quote developers or game artists/publishers 'out of context' in order to gain views or traffic for $$.

COme check out how one writer sees how the industry is going on a more lighthearted approach. Well worth the read, be warned, it is satire - okay.

So you want to be a successful game journalist in the modern era. Well, I’ve got some great news for you: it’s easier than ever!

All you’ve got to do is follow some simple steps, and you’ll be riding the wave of success that is modern online game journalism for the current generation.

No, it's in light of recent events to do with Cliff Blezenski being misquoted by 'certain' game media regarding his so-called comments about Japanese developers, that's the reason that the article, which is satire by the way, was written.

You did read the article, didn't you???

Of course I didn't; why would I waste my time being told things I already know?

You take things too seriously, especially when defending satire. Don't be one of those people who takes the piss and then gets annoyed when somebody else takes the piss.
