Peter from ThumbPad.com.au gives us his thoughts on what Microsoft's massive announcement could be at this years E3 Event. Microsoft has alread got the hype train going by stating that "This Announcement will be bigger then Project Natal"

Microsoft is well known for pulling something big out their virtual ass at E3 events; last year blowing us away with their Project Natal announcement. The question remains 'What could they possibly do this time to get the gaming community pumped for the next 12 months?'

If it's just a slim 360, I wouldn't call that "bigger than Project Natal". It's nothing new to the industry, and really doesn't come with any major benefits. It still plays the same games.

If Microsoft are being completely honest here, then I would think it would have to be an entirely new console. I just hope they learned their lesson from last time...

If not that, then it's either something no one can guess, or more likely something that they are completely blowing out of proportion.

A new console would also tie in with their rumour of dropping the Xbox branding. There is no better way to do that than starting with an entirely brand new system.

Tsk tsk tsk... Microsoft and their lies

Unless that Xbox Slim isn't an Xbox at all.

Though, I'd rather not have a new console, the 360 is going along fine as it is tbh.

Would they class a slim 360 as bigger than Natal, though? I mean that's pretty shitty PR on their part if so.

wait, when did MS ever say there was going to be a secret announcement? and if they did, where does it say that it's bigger than Natal? the article mentions no such thing.
