Star Wars: The Old Republic Loses some Staff

When it was announced that Japanese rock might be appearing in Rock Band, many gamers were unhappy with the J-Rock bands that were listed to possibly make it into the game. Well, Japanator has something to say about that. Go to the source for the full article.
In case you missed it, there's been a bit of a dust-up over the idea, the very idea, of bringing Japanese bands to the TV-game Rock Band. Harmonix asked JRockRevolution about what bands might be the most popular choice to add to their library. Naturally, as their name would suggest, the list JRR produced was more of a popularity contest limited to a small niche of flamboyant, visual-based acts. Think Gwar via Hello Kitty in the 1800s and you'll get the idea.
While the likelihood of a non-zero number of Japanese bands appearing on the Rock Band roster is itself somewhere between null and void (see note below), the debate as to which bands ZOMG SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN GAME RAWR is alive and kicking. Naturally, I have something to add.

the rest of those recommendations were just a bunch of random ass streetcredworthy b-list bands (seriously, vola and the oriental machine, wat? sure, youre not trying hard), and stupid shit that hints at "i couldnt think of anything else". there are tons of other worthy candidates for exposure in the west. i wanted to vote art-school 9999 times but they wouldnt let me
i'll be happy with gackt if they decide to actually go through with adding these bands. also miyavi, if they go with seno senora senorita.
