I wrote an article that summarises the major things that happened at E3 and talk about the disappointments that happened during the conferences. I've also added a poll so be sure to vote which company had the best conference at E3.

Hello ladies and gentlemen and gamers. We all each year unite at the time of E3 anticipating if any new hardware or games are to be revealed. I’ll be talking about the major highlights of the event and I will definitely talk about the major disappointments, such as the rumoured PSP2 was non-existant.

    The good: Nintendo
    The bad: Microsoft
The ugly: Games you can feel

I watched all three online, and in my opinion Sony's was the worst,It was mind numbingly boring, I almost fell asleep. My brother was watching it with me but ended up asleep after the first hour.
The 3DS and New Need for Speed are the only things that got me really excited this E3.

I smell heavy Nintendo favoritism here.

Fatal Error not sure what you smelling, I'm guessing your sense of smell is thrown off by my avatar. I actually thought Microsoft did allot better then everyone else is saying, the new 360 just looks awesome. Excluding the 3DS stuff I thought Nintendo's was just OK. And Sony did have a few interesting bits buried in it's two hour sleep inducing show.

@Livewire_19 - I never want to see a Sony montage EVER AGAIN lol.

@Fatal Error - That's cause they were the only company that brought the goods this year (well, okay its techincally the first time they've brought the goods for probably 3 years).

Microsoft was absolutely friggin horrendous and Sony, whilst not half as bad, wasn't fantastic. Nintendo killed it this year.

It's not favoritism, Sony was EXTREMELY boring during the first hour. Then Kevin showed up but that only made things worse

It wasn't until after the first hour where things picked up but the only good things was PS3 getting steam, and Twisted metal, hardly enough to make up for the first hour.

I'd say that's favoritism if those are the only things you determined were good and you really think Nintendo "killed it". They had the 3DS and...that's about it? They announced a bunch of new games from older franchises but is that really all it takes these days for people to be impressed?

          How is it favoritism?

Did you enjoy hearing the same shit nintendo's been spewing for years? I saw sony conference and it only gave me painful flashbacks of Ninty conferences in the past.

The games they showed where of litte interest to me besides the 2 I've stated. I've never been a fan of Ninty but I gave them the proper respect they completely kicked ass and got me seriously interested in the 3DS.

Sony failed to do that with a lackluster conference.

Yeah see they didn't kick ass, that's the thing. Sony had some damn good demos, good game announcements, and a GT5 release date. Isn't the fact that you only care about two of them more a fact that you're a bit biased there than anything? Sony's announcements were huge while Nintendo's only real thing was the 3DS (which I still am not a fan of after seeing some actual reviews of the hardware) and their demos were not nearly as well done as Sony's.

Sony's conference was not lackluster by any stretch of the imagination. It may have been a bit too long, but the content was superb.

          I smell fanboy.

How am I biased? They rehashed Ninty's past conference the first hour. The second hour was with games I wasn't even interested in, Steam on PS3, Valve support and Twisted metal where imo the biggest draws of Sony's book.

The fact that you didn't like any of ninty's stuff other than 3DS well I guess I could say the same for you.

I think Nintendo kicked arse and smashed E3 and and I've been a PS fan since the PS1 and am still a PS fan above all else.In fact the Wii which I got about 3 weeks ago is the first Nintendo console (not counting handhelds which I don't call consoles) I have owned since the SNES.

I don't care for Twisted Metal, Steam on PS3, Portal 2/Valve support, GT5, Move.

Donkey Kong Country Returns was the best anouncement at E3 imo followed by the 3DS.Those two things alone made Nintendo's E3 the best.I didn't buy the GBA, DS, Wii till years after release but I want a 3DS on launch.

I'd have put Sony behind Microsoft if the conferences ended at the Move presentation. Portal 2 and Twisted Metal pulled it slightly ahead of M$. And I don't give a crap about Nintendo, but I have to admit, they stole E3.
