Some characters look much better today than what they did years ago. Although most "AAA" character designers can usually do a great job revamping a classic character, sometimes it doesn't go over so well. Check out this list of the best and worst and worst videogame character redesigns.

They couldn't have made the article any worsely defined (I realise that's not a word) if they tried.

I agree with some though, Yuna's for one (<3)

They really need to specify whether they thought the redesigns were good or bad, otherwise its just confusing.

Surprised Cole didn't show up, seeing as Infamous 2 is a hot topic lately.

Yeah, I had to summise which ones they were intending to be good redesigns or bad.

I think Cole didn't show up on there because I think that as people see more of the game, they're beginning to realise it's not a big deal (which it ISN'T). And perhaps it could be a benefit.

I liked FFX Yuna more than FFX-2 Yuna to be honest. She is one of my favorite FF characters ever and that is based off of what she was like in FFX.

    Alright article.

But it could have been worded a bit better by them telling us wheather or not they were good or bad improvments.

I much prefere the origional version of Sonic than the new one.

Where as Crystal Dynamics worked wonders on Lara (who I have always wanted)from a babe into the second most gorgeous girl in gaming. She was my #1 but she got beaten by Bayonetta.
