New England Gamer takes a little time to talk about GameStop. Well, more accurately, takes a little time to verbally ream them out for insisting upon plastering every one of their used games with stickers like a hyperactive toddler in a craft store. Curse you price stickers. Curse you.

Now I can understand having these. After all, how am I supposed to tell how the game costs otherwise? That said, GameStop goes insane with these. On X-Men: Legends alone I removed one from the front, one from back and one from the paper cover art itself. R-Type and Dungeon Siege were both similar experiences. Sometimes I’m able to do this without causing much damage to the cover art. This time however, both Legends and R-Type suffered tears as I peeled the stickers off the paper art. I’m still trying to remove residue from the plastic on three games.

Although pointless, the man is right. It's *bleep*ing aggro inducing to have it plastered over YOUR property and can't be remove cleanly without some sort of warm soapy anti adhesive. Usually you have finger nail nicks all over the cover. I don't like nicks. Not. One. Bit >=[

Eh...gamestop has bigger problems than just stickers...but they are pretty irritating.

Yeah, those do suck. I don't buy used games much though, so eh I don't mind too much.

I buy my pre-owned games from EB Games and their stickers come off very easily.

If you need to remove stickers, put a flannel on them and they hopefully should peel off easily for you.

That my work, but its pretty much like putting pam onto the plastic to prevent it from sticking. They would have to find a simpler, cheaper alternative to the problem. Rather make a profit rather than a trade.
